Working with Orange and Tango on getting SIM cards into phones

Getting SIM activations through the CTN channel has always been a challenge. Orange asked us to have a look at this lucrative channel and see what we thought. What we all knew of course is that newsagents – are a savvy, entrepreneurial bunch very profit focused and know a good deal from a bad one.

So it was a question of keeping it simple, finding the right partner and remembering the old mantra of cash is king for the CTN owner. For their customers is was a gift with purchase mechanic, easy when you know how. Behind the concept of course threre was a well thought through data strategy that joined all the dots and provided the insight.

So far we’ve got a direct line through 2500 CTNs for future Orange promotions. We like to think that’s not a bad start.
